Description: It’s made of high quality copper, coated with quality rubber coats and spoke steel armor. It’s fully guaged and guaranteed on durability purposes. It’s used in connection of electrical equipments and machine parts.

Conductors: The conductors in BICC Cables are of high conductivity copper or high purity aluminum and all meet the requirements of IEC60228 “Conductors in insulated cables and cords”.

Construction Details: 150mm 4 Core Armoured Cable is commonly identified by the following construction; plain annealed stranded copper for the cores/conductors, polyvinyl chloride for the bedding and sheathing, cross-linked polyethylene for the insulation, with a steel wire armour protecting the layers beneath.

Testing: PVC and XLPE insulated armoured cables with FR, FRLHCL bedding and sheath will pass the test requirements under category C of IEC 60332 Part 3 specification for “test on electrical cables under fire condition on bunched wires or cables”.
